INTRODUCTION & EXPLANATION AS TO WHY THIS BOOK IS SO STRONGLY WRITTEN

Did you know that Revelation speaks of a world-wide religious power that will attempt to cleanse the world of all true Protestant Christians? Did you know that two hundred years ago the United States of America was predominantly a Protestant Christian nation and that today it is very hard to find even one true protestant? We have the Ecumenical Movement to thank for this.

Today you are considered to be a prejudiced bigot if you are a true protestant. Today the only evil religion is the religion that takes a stand for Christ and His standards. Today good has become evil and evil has become good. With this in mind we must ask ourselves, "What is a true protestant?"

Christ was a true protestant! He protested against all manner of sin, whether it be adultery, homosexuality, lying, cheating, stealing, coveting, dishonoring parents, taking His name in vain, worshiping other gods or having graven images. He protested against self-righteousness and pride. He protested against the human yoke of bondage that the priests of the temple placed upon the Jews and Gentiles. He protested the human yoke of bondage in compelling the human conscience in spiritual matters. His Word is the Gospel--the words of the priest are not unless they are in harmony with Him.

It is the enacting of national laws in spiritual matters, demanded by the ecumenical spiritual leaders, that will give the Image of the Beast its power. Now ask yourself, "Am I willing to vote for politicians that want to enforce religious laws? Do I want to belong to a religious affiliation that wants the government to enforce religious dogmas?"

God does give governments the authority to enforce moral law --the last six of the Ten Commandments. But He does not give anyone the authority to dictate matters of conscience on the first four commandments. Such laws can only and always have led to persecution of God's true and faithful.

Christ gives all mankind the choice of serving Him or serving Satan. The Jewish system has been done away with. Nowhere does He command NEW COVENANT CHRISTIANS to force spiritual matters upon another's conscience by the enacting of national laws. This is legalism! But He does command us to teach His gospel and stand up for the truth even if it means death. His life and the life of all of His apostles is proof of this fact.

Look at the Biblical account of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednigo. They chose the fiery furnace rather than bowing down to the image of their day. Look at Daniel-he chose the lions den rather than to change his habit of praying to his Father in Heaven. Today a Christian of such character is considered a crazed fanatic-a cultist.

One day soon, and sooner than you may think, you will be tested just as was Shadrach, Meshach and Abednigo. You will have to bow down to the image of the beast or face death. Which will you choose?

"And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the Image of the beast should be killed." Rev. 13:15.

Within this book we will discover what the beast is, what the image of the beast is, what the mark of the beast is and what the number (666) of the name of the beast represents.

Within this book we will find out if we have been deceived by Satan and his disciples into accepting Satan's anti-gospel. "For there shall arise false Christ's, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect." Mat. 24:24

Have you been deceived? If you are truly deceived the only way to know is if you allow the Word of God to undeceive you.

Q: Is it enough just to believe that Christ is the Savior? Today's false shepherds are teaching this, but what does God's Word say? "Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble." Ja. 2:19.

A: Since the devils believe, will they be saved? Of course not! "And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day." Jude 6. "For God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment." II Pet. 2:4. "And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever." Rev. 20:10

What about you and me? What if we are deceived? What if we are self-deceived into believing that we are saved when we are not? Could this be? "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity." Mat. 7:21-24.

Q: How are we to know what is right or what is wrong? How are we to know who is a false teacher and who is true?

A: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Is. 8:20.

The author of this book would like every reader to understand that he is judging no man or religious denomination. He is only repeating the judgments of God against evil persons and evil religions. He believes that God has children in every religion, for Jesus says, "Other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd." Jn. 10: 16. There are honest Christians in every denomination. But God commands them to "come out from among them (the evil religions of the world), and be ye separate..." 2 Cor. 6:17. God doesn't want an amalgamation of religions to come together as a body, He wants believers in Christ to separate from the world's false religions and come together in the true gospel--in the faith of Christ. See Rom. 12:5; 1 Cor. 1:10; 10:17; 2 Co. 13:11; Ph. 1:27; 1 Pe. 3:8; Gal. 3:28; Eph. 4:13. "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers." II Co. 6:14.

If a man is truly chosen of God to spread the gospel, does he have a choice as to what he preaches? No! He is commanded to "earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints." Jude 3. "Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith." Tit. 1:13.

If a minister of the gospel preaches anything but the gospel he will receive of the plagues written in the book. "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of this book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book." Rev. 22:18,19. See also Deu. 4:2; 12:32; Pr. 30:5,6.

"There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all." Eph. 4:4-6. This verse condemns the ever popular Ecumenical Movement that teaches that it doesn't matter what you believe as long as you don't believe in one gospel and that we should close our eyes to each other's differences.

There is only one Lord, one faith and one baptism. There is only one Gospel. Anything else is eating of the tree of knowledge of good

and evil, an amalgamation of truth and error, partaking of spiritual food that is not good for you and can only cause death.

A minister of the gospel, whether he be a writer or a speaker of the gospel, has no choice as to what he preaches and teaches if he wishes to avoid receiving the plagues spoken of in the book of Revelation. "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature." Mat. 16:15. This is a command to all Christians. It doesn't command us to just preach some of the gospel to some of the world or to mix the gospel with ear-pleasing falsehoods in order to keep from offending those around us. God speaks of these men-pleasers in Jude 4, "For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ." This is saying that there are false shepherds preaching that the blood of Christ did away with the law therefore we can continue sinning and be saved. In other words, the blood of Christ is a license to sin. Do you remember how the serpent told Eve she would not die if she sinned? This is the same lie. See Gen. 3:4.

Most of God's prophets have lost their lives defending the gospel and the standards set forth in it. John the Baptist is a good example. As Christians we must defend the gospel no matter what the earthly cost. Do not be guilty of judging me for the words written within this book if the words are according "to the law and to the testimony."

Just what will happen if we allow ourselves to be deceived? Will God punish those that allow themselves to be deceived? Let's let His Word answer this question. Let's look at the story of the disobedient prophet as recorded in 1 Kings, chapter twelve and thirteen.

"And Rehoboam [of the house of David] went to Shechem: for all Israel were come to Shechem to make him king... But he [Rehoboam] forsook the counsel of the old men, which they had given him, and consulted with the young men that were grown up with him, and which stood before him...

"So when all Israel saw that the king hearkened not unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? neither have we inheritance in the son of Jesse: to your tents, O Israel: now see to thine own house, David. So Israel departed unto their tents...

"So Israel rebelled against the house of David unto this day. And it came to pass, when all Israel heard that Jeroboam was come again, that they sent and called him unto the congregation, and made him king over all Israel: there was none that followed the house of David, but the tribe of Judah only...

"Then Jeroboam built Shechem in mount Ephraim, and dwelt therein; and went out from thence, and built Penuel. And Jeroboam said in his heart, Now shall the kingdom return to the house of David: If this people go up to do sacrifice in the house of the Lord at Jerusalem, then shall the heart of this people turn again unto their lord, even unto Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and go again to Rehoboam king of Judah. Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold, and said unto them, It is too much for you to go up to Jerusalem: behold thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt...

"And he made an house of high places, and made priests of the lowest of the people, which were not of the sons of Levi. And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like unto the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So did he in Bethel, sacrificing unto the calves that he had made: and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made. So he offered upon the altar which he had made in Bethel the fifteenth day of the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart; and ordained a feast unto the children of Israel: and he offered upon the altar, and burnt incense...

"And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the Lord unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense. And he cried against the altar in the word of the Lord, and said, O altar, altar, thus saith the Lord; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David, Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee...And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward. And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place: For so was it charged me by the word of the Lord, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest. So he went another way, and returned not by the way that he came to Bethel." 1 Kings 12:1,8,16, 19-20, 25-28,31-33; 13:1,2,7-10.

This prophet did not even think about doing as this king entreated for he knew how important it was to obey the Word of God. The king did not attempt to deceive the prophet, he simply asked him to do something that God had told the prophet not to do. We need to realize a very important lesson in this story. Satan first tempted this prophet of God through an ungodly king but he did not succeed because he didn't use deception. What do you think would have happened if the entreaty had come from someone professing to be godly and using deceit? Let's continue the story and see what happens.

"Now there dwelt an old prophet in Bethel; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Bethel: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to their father. And their father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah. And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon, And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am. Then he said unto him, Come home with me, and eat bread. And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place: For it was said to me by the word of the Lord, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest. He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the Lord, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him. So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water. And it came to pass, as they sat at the table, that the word of the Lord came unto the prophet that brought him back: And he cried unto the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus saith the Lord, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the Lord, and hast not kept the commandment which the Lord thy God commanded thee, But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the Lord did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers. And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass, to wit, for the prophet whom he had brought back. And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase." 1 Kings 13:11-24.

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed." Eph. 4:5

It's too bad the prophet in the preceding story didn't heed this gospel warning. There is only one way to know if a messenger of God is speaking truth or deceptive error and that is this: "To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them." Isa. 8:20.

I believe this story very plainly explains what will happen to us if we allow ourselves to be deceived even if the deception comes from Christian ministers. After all, Satan is most successful in his deceptions if his agents appear to be godly ministers, prophets or even angels of light.

Don't believe the things written in this book until you have compared them with the King James Bible. Has any one ever tried to teach you from any other source? Does that source agree one-hundred percent with God's Word as written in the "King James Bible?" If not then they are agents of Satan. Remember, there is only one gospel. "For God is not the author of confusion." 1 Cor 14:33.

It is Satan that has invented all the differing versions and translations. Satan, through his church, has placed Bibles out here so that every person will be able to choose a Bible that teaches whatever he wants to believe. This is total confusion and it can not be right since there is only one gospel. Once you find out which church is Satan's church then you will know which bibles to stay away from. This book will identify Satan's church.

There is a book entitled, OUR AUTHORIZED BIBLE VINDICATED, by Benjamin G. Wilkinson, Copyrighted in England, 1930 that is excellent on the subject of the true Bible and the satanic bibles. It gives in depth historical facts regarding Satan's church, how it introduced the false bibles and how it manipulates mankind. You can order this book through Leaves-of-Autumn Books, P. O.
